The 11th International Conference on Evolutionary Multi-Criterion Optimization EMO2021 (11th International Conference on Evolutionary Multi-Criterion Optimization) will be held in Shenzhen, China from March 28 to March 31, 2021. EMO is an important international conference in the field of evolutionary computing and multi-objective optimization. It is held every two years. This is the first time the conference has been held in mainland China. Affected by the global epidemic, this conference adopted a combination of online and offline methods for the first time to facilitate the convenient participation of researchers from different regions of the world. On March 28th, the opening ceremony was held simultaneously in the conference hall and online. Professor Hisao Ishibuchi from our department delivered a speech as the chair of the conference. On the evening of March 30th, all the experts and scholars who attended the conference gathered together to participate in the dinner hosted by the conference, and held the Huawei International Logistics Competition Award Ceremony during the dinner. The competition is sponsored by Huawei’s Noah’s Ark Laboratory. Since the start of the competition in November 2020, it has lasted 4 months and nearly 500 contestants from all over the world have signed up. In the end, the gold, silver and bronze award winners of the Track1 competition were the City University of Hong Kong (Zhu Qingling), Southern University of Science and Technology (Zhang Han) and Kunzhan Technology (Zhang Yan); in addition, Kunzhan Technology Zhang Yan led the team to win the Track2 competition. On the evening of March 31, the meeting held a closing ceremony. Professor Zhang Qingfu from City University of Hong Kong gave a speech at the meeting and thanked all the meeting organizers and participants who supported the meeting.
