Recently, EMI team member Huang Shihua received an offer from the “Southern University of Science and Technology-Hong Kong Polytechnic University” joint training doctoral program. The program will pay for a full scholarship during the doctoral study period. After graduation, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the Southern University of Science and Technology will be awarded a doctorate. Proof of training. Huang Shihua is a 2014 undergraduate of Northeastern University. After graduation, he worked as a research assistant in the EMI research group. He is the third student in the EMI research group to receive a full scholarship for the SUSTech Overseas Joint Training Program after graduation. His tutor at Southern University of Science and Technology is Associate Professor Cheng Ran, and his tutor at Hong Kong Polytechnic University is Kay Chen Tan Chair Professor.
