On January 12, 2021, the EMI research group held a 2020 year-end summary meeting. The meeting first showed the funding income and expenditure of the EMI research team in 2020, and summarized the scientific research achievements and main achievements of the team members. The whole group has published 21 high-quality academic papers in 2020, including: IEEE TPAMI, IEEE TEVC, IEEE TCYB and other JCR area 1 journal papers; 2 approved funds, including: National Natural Science Foundation of China Joint Fund Key Support 1 project, 1 Shenzhen outstanding science and technology innovation talent project; 14 patent applications.

The leader of the research group, Mr. Cheng Ran, fully affirmed the results of the whole group in 2020, and emphasized that the EMI team members should continue to study and work hard to be grateful for the strong support, trust and tolerance of the school and the department; Mr. He Cheng, Lu Zhichao Teachers and all the members made speeches at the meeting, summarized the achievements made in 2020, and introduced the study plan and goals for 2021.
